Whiskey Blues BBQ was born from a lifetime spent between two loves. The slow burn of oak and hickory drifting through the air, and the sound of a blues guitar filling a room full of friends and family. It is the glow of a fire that has been burning low and slow all night. It is the pour of a good bourbon and the stories that come with it.
Every recipe is crafted to celebrate authentic BBQ traditions while bringing its own signature character to the table. Born and raised in Northeast Florida, I grew up in an atmosphere with a passion for cooking amazing food and playing great music. Over the years I immersed myself in the studies of BBQ from great pitmasters across every region, honing the craft to bring my creation to you.
I have an extensive history in creating and playing music, touring with some of the greatest to ever do it. Today, I serve my community as a First Responder, giving my heart and soul to the people I serve and protect. I am a husband, a father, a family man, and a follower of our savior.
I cannot wait for the opportunity to shake your hand and personally thank you for coming along on this journey with us!

Whiskey Blues BBQ is a craft barbecue brand built around authentic, small-batch sauces, rubs, and seasonings inspired by southern BBQ traditions, live-fire cooking, and the soul of music. Every bottle is handcrafted in St. Augustine, Florida by pitmaster Chad E. Hallman.
Every recipe is developed to deliver elite quality and flavor while staying approachable for backyard pitmasters. We build layered, balanced flavor that complements smoked meats rather than masking them. No shortcuts, no fillers, real BBQ..
For pork, start with the Harmony Pork Rub and finish with Serenade Red or (My wife's favorite) Serenade Gold Sauce! For beef, the Ballad Brisket Rub is the classic Texas BBQ approach. For chicken and turkey, you can't beat the Rhythm Poultry Rub and Serenade Alabama White Sauce. Not sure? Grab a bottle of Serenade Red first, it plays well with everything! It brings a traditional Texas Red Sauce approach..
